Process of Calcination Bauxite:

Calcination Bauxite includes three stages:decomposed stage, secondary millite stage and crystallization sintering stage.

1)decomposed stage(400-1200 degree)

400-1200 degree is decomposed stage of bauxite. In this stage, water aluminum stone and Kaolin stone starts to dehydration at 400 degree, react strongly at 450-600 degree, and finished at 700-800 degree.Water aluminum stone becomes corundum illusion after dehydration staying former shape but edge part. Kaolin stone becomes metakaolin after dehydration, and then becomes millite above 950 degree.

2)Secondary millite stone(1200-1400 degree or 1500 degree)

Above 1200 degree, the SiO2, decomposed from corundum and Kaolin stone, continues to react forming millite stone which is also called secondary millite.

Bauxite mining rotary kiln  is composed of cylinder, fireproof brick, support roller, rim, large gear ring, Small gear ring drived by motor, head kiln hood, steel sheel, cold kiln hood, fuel and gas jet.
